Nominations for Peace Wapiti Public School Division’s Board Trustees closed yesterday, and ten nominations were received for the nine different wards.
The following wards were acclaimed:
- Ward 1 (Eaglesham, Woking, Rycroft) - Martine Piebiak
- Ward 2 (Bonanza, Savanna, Spirit River) - Blaine Riding
- Ward 3 (Beaverlodge, Elmworth) - Lori Grant
- Ward 4 (Hythe, La Glace) - Dwayne Speager
- Ward 5 (Grande Prairie West, Wembley) - Wendy Kelm
- Ward 6 (Sexsmith, Teepee Creek) - Dale Crane
- Ward 8 (Ridgevalley) - Cortney Lunde
- Ward 9 (Clairmont, Bezanson) - Charity Watson
Ward 7 received multiple nominations and the election for this ward will be held on Monday, October 20, 2025.
Ward 7 (Grande Prairie East, Grovedale)
Candidates: Stefanie Clarke and Mark Klemp
